LingoTalk Secures Pre-Seed Funding from Singapore-based Kistech

Foreign language learning platform LingoTalk secures pre-seed funding from Kistech, Singapore.

Jakarta, TechnoBusiness ID (English Edition) ● LingoTalk, an online foreign language learning platform, has just closed pre-seed funding from several local investors led by Kistech Pte. Ltd., a private company from Singapore.

The undisclosed amount of funding will be used to develop products that help learn foreign languages ​​more efficiently based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

In addition, to improve the quality of LingoMethod, an internal learning method developed by LingoTalk. The presence of LingoTalk and its features is considered relevant to global conditions that are growing without limits.

Since its founding by Andre Benito and Hardi Wijaya, two alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, in 2020, LingoTalk has provided learning in 10 international languages ​​used by more than 10,000 active users throughout Indonesia.

“With the new funding support, we are ready to improve our products and services to produce more efficient foreign language learning services,” said Andre Benito, co-founder and CEO of LingoTalk.

The funding obtained by LingoTalk is also a form of support from Kistech to participate in advancing education in Indonesia. Moreover, said Managing Director of Kistech Iwan Suhardjo, the platform was developed by people who have a passion in this field.

“Seeing Andre and Hardi’s journey, I believe they can bring LingoTalk to have a significant impact on education in Indonesia, especially in improving foreign language skills,” said Iwan regarding the company’s funding for LingoTalk.●
