California, TechnoBusiness Travel • Summer travel to and from Ontario, California International Airport (ONT) in July is expected to be close to recovering to pre-pandemic times.

Based on the flight schedule set by the airport authority, starting next month there will be 437 flights a week from Ontario International Airport.
That means, flights from the airport have reached 87.4% when compared to flights in July 2019 or the period before the pandemic which reached 500 flights.

Such flights will carry more than 64,000 seats or 90.8% of the total seats (70,600 seats) flown in July 2019.
The 11 airlines operating from Ontario International Airport offer non-stop service to 25 summer vacation destinations, including Charlotte, Chicago, Honolulu, Houston, Mexico City and San Salvador.

The flight from Ontario International Airport, which is nearing recovery, was driven by the improving handling of the pandemic in the United States. Even so, health protocols remain the main thing.
Ontario International Airport, located in Inland Empire, 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, Southern California, is the fastest growing airport in the US, according to Global Traveler.•
