Cisco Launches All New Webex Suite for Hybrid Work Trend

Cisco launched the All New Webex Suite to support the growing trend of hybrid work.

Jakarta, TechnoBusiness Products (English Edition) • As the COVID-19 outbreak continues throughout the world, the combination of working from home and work from office has become a new trend.

The trend of hybrid work, which is usually divided into 50% working days from home and 50% working days from the office a week, is what prompted Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) to launch the All New Webex Suite.

The All New Webex Suite is a unified platform that allows enterprise users to combine meetings, calls, messages, polls, and events in a hybrid way.

Hariharan S., Managing Director of Software, Cloud, and Collaboration at Cisco APJC, said that the All New Webex Suite has 800 new features compared to the previous generation of Webex.

The features added in the last six months offer a new experience that is more flexible and inclusive. “The All New Webex Suite ensures that all hybrid workforces are equal in the work environment,” he said.

Looks like Cisco is not messing with the launch of the All New Webex Suite. This is because Cisco changed its Webex identity and logo in early June.

In addition, Cisco is also willing to acquire Socio Labs, Inc., a developer of hybrid event management and execution platforms from Indianapolis, United States, in May. (Acquisition will close in Q4 2021 fiscal year).

Marina Kacaribu, Managing Director of Cisco Indonesia, said that the core of everything Cisco does is the desire to deliver technological innovation.
