Timex Group to Produce Adidas Originals Watches

From now on Adidas Originals watches will be produced by watchmaker Timex Group.

California, TechnoBusiness US • Timex Group, a global watch manufacturer and marketer based in Middleburrey, Connecticut, US, on Thursday (6/5) signed a license agreement with Adidas AG (ETR: ADS).

As is known, Adidas is the largest sports equipment manufacturer in the world from Herzogenaurach, Germany, with sales value in 2020 reaching €19.8 billion.

With this license agreement, now the Timex Group holds the rights to design, manufacture and distribute Adidas Originals watches throughout the world.

The first collection of Timex Group Adidas Originals timepieces is slated to hit the market in early 2022.

Timex Group President and CEO Tobias Reiss-Schmidt said the Timex Group is quite excited to welcome Adidas Originals watches to its portfolio. [the_ad id=”13590″]

“There are only a few brands that are truly iconic. Adidas with its rich history and authentic style is at the top of the list,” he said.

Adidas watches will add to the list of watch brands that have been produced by the Timex Group such as Timex, Nautica, Guess, Gc, Ted Baker, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Missoni and Furla. [the_ad id=”13590″]

With more than 3,000 employees and operating units in various countries, the Timex Group will produce a range of inspiring Adidas Originals timepieces.

The Adidas Originals watches produced by the Timex Group will be targeted at the Millennial Generation and Generation Z, which are the largest market niche for global watches. [the_ad id=”13590″]

The Adidas Originals watches will be sold in all Adidas-owned, affiliated and e-commerce stores, as well as through the Timex Group global distribution network.•
