Cashlez’s net income in 2020 increased by 407.73% when compared to the previous year.
Jakarta, TechnoBusiness ID (English Edition) • PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk. (IDX: CASH), the leading payment solution company in Indonesia, throughout 2020 managed to record good performance.
In the company’s financial statements submitted on Tuesday (4/5), Cashlez’s net income last year was recorded at Rp84.32 billion, up 407.73% from Rp16.61 billion in 2019.
The increase in Cashlez’s net income was driven by the increase in gross transaction value last year compared to the previous year’s 56.16% to Rp5.95 trillion.
Even so, Cashlez’s net income was only able to cut the company’s net loss from Rp10.85 billion in 2019 to Rp7.13 billion in 2020.
Suwandi, President Director of PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk., said he was optimistic that the company’s performance this year would be better than previous years.
“The company will carry out strategic efforts to achieve the target in 2021,” he said. One such effort is to add up to 5,000 new merchants.
If this is achieved, these merchants will complement the 9,176 existing merchants, including KalCare, Brawijaya Hospital, BFI Finance, Shafira, Zoya, and Fish & Cheap.•
