The fintech company Xendit supports digital payment services for XL Axiata customers.

Jakarta, TechnoBusiness ID (English Edition) Xendit Inc., a digital payment solution provider based in Jakarta, has established a partnership with the leading telecommunications operator PT XL Axiata Tbk. (IDX: EXCL).

In this partnership, Xendit will help facilitate the payment process for XL Axiata customers through the myXL application, XL Prioritas, AxisNet App, LiveOn, XL Home Xcite App, and others.

“The collaboration with Xendit is one of our efforts to help improve customer convenience,” said XL Axiata Director & Chief Commercial Officer David Arcelus.

Thanks to Xendit, XL Axiata customers will find it easier to purchase services and data features on myXL with a variety of payment options.

Tessa Wijaya, COO and co-founder of Xendit, said the company continues to innovate and improve services in order to provide a fast, easy and reliable payment infrastructure for XL Axiata customers.

Xendit was founded by Bo Chen, Juan Gonzales, Moses Lo, and Tessa Wijaya in Jakarta in 2014. In its operations, the fintech company has received funding rounds totaling US$64.7 million four times.

Several venture capitalists have co-financed Xendit, including Y Combinator and Accel. By the end of 2020, Xendit had also expanded its market to the Philippines.
