UK-based PPro has integrated Jenius Pay and LinkAja into its payment platform.
Singapore, TechnoBusiness SG ● PPro, a leading global payment infrastructure provider, integrated two Indonesian digital payment platforms, namely Jenius Pay and LinkAja.
Thus, Jenius Pay and LinkAja join other Indonesian digital payment platforms that have already been integrated on the PPro platform, namely Doku and Ovo.
This step was taken by PPro to expand its market coverage in Asia Pacific, especially in Indonesia. This is because Indonesia’s digital financial services market is estimated to be worth US$8.6 billion by 2025.
Kelvin Phua, Global Head of Payment Networks PPro, said that since entering the Indonesian market in 2020, PPro has continued to work on adding local payment services to its platform.
On the other hand, Jenius, which was developed by Bank BTPN, also believes that collaboration from various parties is needed to create a digital economy ecosystem.
“In line with the spirit of co-creation and collaboration that Jenius has carried from the start, we are excited to collaborate with PPro in providing more complete financial services,” said Irwan S. Tisnabudi, Digital Banking Head of Bank BTPN.
To note, in addition to LinkAja, Doku, and Ovo, local payment services incorporated in the PPro platform are Alipay, WeChat Pay, GrabPay, Bancontact, iDeal, Blik, and Boleto Bancario.
PPro’s performance is also getting stronger because the company from London, England, at the beginning of the year just received funding of US$180 million, making it more than US$1 billion.●
