Gawat! 12 Juta Ancaman Siber Targetkan Pengguna Indonesia
Hampir 12 juta ancama siber menargetkan pengguna di Indonesia selama kuartal 1/2022.
Jakarta, TechnoBusiness Insights ID ● Kabar baik datang dari Bank Dunia. Institusi finansial global yang berpusat di Washington DC, Amerika Serikat, itu memuji Indonesia melalui laporan terbarunya.
Dalam laporan tersebut dikatakan bahwa Indonesia merupakan negara pengadopsi teknologi tertinggi di dunia, mengalahkan negara lain, bahkan di tengah situasi pandemi COVID-19 sekalipun.

Tapi, kabar baik itu diikuti kabar buruk yang tak kalah mengkhawatirkan. Adopsi teknologi besar-besaran yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan swasta, pemerintah, dan perorangan juga diikuti oleh maraknya ancaman siber.
Kaspersky, pengembang perangkat lunak keamanan siber global asal Rusia, mengungkapkan selama empat bulan pertama 2022 hampir 12 juta (11.802.558) ancaman siber menargetkan pengguna di Indonesia.
Indonesia jadi target utama ancaman siber global.
Tak pelak ancaman sebanyak itu tercatat yang tertinggi jika dibandingkan dengan yang menyasar negara-negara lain di sekitarnya seperti Singapura hanya 1,54 juta; Thailand 4,61 juta; Filipina 9,23 juta; Malaysia 9,87 juta.
Ancaman siber Indonesia sebanyak itu diketahui 22% lebih tinggi dibanding 9,63 juta pada periode yang sama tahun lalu. Angka itu lantas menempatkan Indonesia di urutan ke-60 di dunia sebagai negara “berbahaya” ranah sibernya.

“Kami lihat lebih banyak orang merangkul NFT, aset kripto, dan Metaverse yang berkembang pesat di kalangan generasi muda. Tapi, ancaman siber selalu menunggu tren berikutnya,” kata Yeo Siang Tiong, General Manager Kaspersky Asia Tenggara.●
