Pandemi Gerus Kesejahteraan Finansial 74% Karyawan
Kesejahteraan finansial karyawan di Indonesia tergerus karena pandemi COVID-19.
Jakarta, TechnoBusiness Insights ID ● Tak dimungkiri bahwa pandemi COVID-19 telah berdampak buruk bagi hampir semua orang, terutama karyawan. Sebanyak 74% karyawan di Indonesia bahkan mengaku kesejahteraan finansialnya tergerus karena pandemi.
Hal itu terungkap dalam Mekari Whitepaper: Laporan Kesejahteraan Finansial Karyawan Indonesia 2022, sebuah laporan terbaru hasil studi Mekari yang melibatkan lebih dari 5.500 karyawan dan 300 perwakilan dari divisi sumber daya manusia perusahaan.

Mekari, perusahaan software-as-a-services terkemuka di Tanah Air, juga mengungkapkan bahwa kesejahteraan finansial karyawan yang mayoritas bekerja di industri teknologi, distribusi, ritel, keuangan, dan hospitality itu memburuk hingga di bawah rata-rata karena tidak lagi memadai.
Karyawan umumnya membutuhkan Rp4 juta per tahun untuk menutupi pengeluaran tak terduga. Tapi, rata-rata karyawan hanya mampu menabung dana darurat, yang juga habis untuk membiayai kebutuhan primer, termasuk kebutuhan sehari-hari dan medis, sebesar Rp2,6 juta per tahun.
79% karyawan ingin agar perusahaan mendongkrak kesejahteraan finansial mereka.
Karena itu, Jansen Jumino, Financial Services Director Mekari, mengatakan 79% karyawan ingin agar perusahaan mendongkrak kesejahteraan finansial mereka. Sebab, kesejahteraan finansial karyawan berpengaruh pada produktivitas kerja.

“Masalahnya, hanya 27% perusahaan yang merasa kesejahteraan finansial karyawan menjadi tanggung jawab perusahaan,” ungkapnya. Alhasil, 79% karyawan mengatakan kehadiran program kesejahteraan finansial akan memengaruhi pemilihan tempat kerja berikutnya.●
