Shenzhen, TechnoBusiness CN ● Hisense Co. Ltd. (SSE: 600060), a technology brand from Qingdao, Shandong, China, is the official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The confirmation was announced by FIFA President Gianni Infantino on Wednesday (20/10) last week. Thus, Hisense became the official sponsor of the World Cup and European Cup for the fourth year in a row.
“With Hisense’s premium products and cutting-edge technology, we want to collaborate to create an engaging and memorable football viewing experience,” said Infantino.

Hisense collaborated with FIFA for the first time in April 2017 ahead of the World Cup Russia 2018. At that time, FIFA appointed Hisense to broadcast live and develop advanced display products.
Hisense also released a World Cup TV product complete with advanced features such as Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation (MEMC) and sport mode.
The Hisense television product is also able to scan faces to identify players as well as interactive image search based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
