Penjelasan Spire Research Tentang Riset “Fraud” Go-Jek dan Grab

Jakarta, TechnoBusiness ID ● Rabu pekan lalu Spire Research and Consulting merilis hasil risetnya yang menyatakan bahwa secara keseluruhan tindak kecurangan (fraud) yang terjadi di Go-Jek mencapai sekitar 30% dan Grab kurang dari 5%.
Menurut perusahaan riset yang berpusat di Jepang itu, ada beberapa praktik yang menyebabkan tingkat kecurangan tinggi. Praktik-praktik tersebut antara lain penggunaan Fake GPS, aplikasi yang sudah dimodifikasi, order fiktif, dan pengemudi prioritas.

Hasil riset itu kemudian dibantah oleh manajemen Go-Jek, yang menurut mereka aplikasinya saat ini sudah jauh lebih canggih dalam menangkal tindak kecurangan.
Spire Research: Riset itu tidak sekadar dikemukakan oleh 40 mitra pengemudi, melainkan menggunakan tiga metodologi sekaligus.
Namun, Spire Research menjelaskan bahwa hasil risetnya itu tidak sekadar dikemukakan oleh 40 mitra pengemudi, melainkan menggunakan tiga metodologi sekaligus.
Dalam penjelasan Spire Research, ketiga metodologi itu adalah (1) wawancara tatap muka; (2) survei kuantitatif; (3) sumber-sumber internal dan eksternal dari industri terbaik.

“Wawancara dengan mitra pengemudi termasuk dalam bagian metodologi wawancara tatap muka untuk mendapatkan informasi yang mendalam,” ungkap Jeffrey Bahar, Group Deputy CEO Spire Research and Consulting, di Jakarta, Senin (4/2).
Spire Research menyatakan juga menggunakan praktik riset standar seperti melakukan pendekatan terhadap sumber-sumber terkait dalam industri.
“Informasi tersebut, termasuk wawancara dengan mitra pengemudi, kami jadikan sebagai basis riset kami,” lanjut Jeffrey menjelaskan.●
