Jakarta, TechnoBusiness ID ● PT Prakarsa Prima Sentosa, anak usaha Erajaya Digital, dan PT Blackhawk Network, sepakat mengembangkan bisnis kartu hadiah (gift card) dengan mendirikan usaha patungan (joint venture).
Kesepakatan itu ditandatangani oleh kedua perusahaan yang diwakili oleh Presiden Direktur Prakarsa Prima Sentosa Hasan Aula dan Regional Vice President Business Development Asia Pacific Blackhawk Network Judy Li di Jakarta, Rabu (21/9).

Nantinya, usaha patungan itu akan memasarkan macam produk gift card, e-gift card, prepaid card, unique card, dan digital commerce yang bekerja sama dengan Google Play, Spotify, iFlix, PlayStation, Mobile Legends, Riot Games, Netflix, Grab, dan lainnya.
Hasan Aula mengungkapkan bahwa usaha patungan itu dibentuk untuk menangkap besarnya peluang pasar yang ada seiring meningkatnya popularitas layanan streaming, peminatan terhadap aneka konten, dan kecepatan koneksi internet.
Firma riset pasar ResearchAndMarkets menyebut pasar kartu hadiah di Indonesia akan terus berkembang pesat hingga pada 2026 diperkirakan membentuk nilai US$2.419,2 juta, naik signifikan dari US$1.549,6 juta pada 2021.
Spire Research and Consulting, firma riset pasar global yang berpusat di Tokyo, kepada TechnoBusiness menyatakan pasar kartu hadiah global, termasuk di Indonesia, akan terus tumbuh mengikuti pergerakan pasar yang dinamis.
Pasar kartu hadiah global, termasuk Indonesia, akan terus tumbuh dan potensial untuk dilirik.
“Dunia offline dan online yang tumbuh baik akan diikuti dengan pertumbuhan permintaan terhadap kartu hadiah dan semacamnya,” ujar Jeffrey Bahar, COO Spire Research and Consulting. “Indonesia merupakan salah satu pasar yang menarik untuk kategori produk tersebut.”
Meski sudah banyak produk kartu hadiah yang ditawarkan di Indonesia, di antaranya UV Gift Card, Gift Card Indonesia, dan GrabGift Indonesia, potensi pasarnya masih sangat besar. Jadi, lanjut Jeffrey, wajar jika anak usaha Erajaya tersebut meliriknya.
Kartu hadiah telah menjadi demikian populer di Indonesia karena konsumen melihatnya sebagai pintu bagi ekonomi digital yang luas. “Blackhawk bangga telah mengembangkan bisnis kartu hadiah di Indonesia,” ujar Judy Li.

Lagi pula, bisnis kartu hadiah akan menguntungkan pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Kerja sama tersebut, kata Hasan, akan memberdayakan lebih dari 30.000 dealer UMKM di Indonesia untuk mendapatkan nilai tambah bagi usahanya.●
