Jakarta, TechnoBusiness ID ● McEasy, startup penyedia solusi digital Software-as-as-Service bagi operator logistik dan pelacakan kendaraan yang didirikan oleh Hendrik Ekowaluyo dan Raymond Sutjiono di Surabaya pada 2017, kembali mendapat suntikan dana dari pemodal ventura East Ventures.
Setelah pada September tahun lalu mengucurkan US$1,5 juta dalam pendanaan tahap awal (seed funding), kali ini East Ventures menggelontorkan dana lebih besar lagi, yakni US$6,5 juta—yang mengantarkan McEasy mengumpulkan total US$8 juta sampai saat ini.

Menurut penjelasan dalam keterangan resminya, McEasy akan menggunakan dana yang baru diperolehnya untuk meningkatkan inovasi teknologi, mengembangkan produk yang bernilai tambah bagi konsumen (product-market fit), dan memperluas ekspansi ke kota-kota tier 2 dan 3.
Hendrik Ekowaluyo, co-founder McEasy, mengatakan East Ventures merupakan investor yang menyadari potensi McEasy dalam memberikan dampak positif bagi ekosistem rantai pasok di Indonesia. Investasiya, selain untuk melayani perusahaan besar, juga mendukung teknologi UMKM.
Solusi transportasi dan rantai pasokan McEasy telah digunakan oleh 200-an perusahaan.
“Mereka tulang punggung perekonomian kita dan potensi sektor ini sungguh tidak terbatas, setidaknya melibatkan lebih dari 5 juta unit mobil angkutan komersial,” katanya. Di dalamnya termasuk bus penumpang, jasa pengiriman barang, dan kendaraan berpendingin untuk komoditas pangan.
Dalam perjalanannya selama lima tahun ini, McEasy terus mencatatkan kinerja yang cukup baik. Solusi transportasi dan rantai pasoknya telah digunakan oleh 200-an perusahaan, termasuk Cleo Pure Water, KMDI Logistics, MGM Bosco Logistics, Rosalia Indah, dan Tanto Intim Line.

Penggunaan solusi dari McEasy dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengiriman dan menghemat biaya operasional perusahaan logistik hingga 30%. Karena itu, semakin banyak perusahaan yang tertarik untuk bekerja sama sehingga kinerjanya tumbuh lebih daari 12 kali lipat dalam 18 bulan terakhir.
Menurut Raymond Sutjipto, co-founder McEasy, itu sesuai visi perusahaan yang berupaya membantu mendigitalisasi sektor transportasi dan ekosistem rantai pasokan nasional: membuatnya lebih terkoneksi, memiliki visibilitas, terautomasi, dan terintegrasi dari hulu ke hilir.
Produk unggulan McEasy yaitu pelacak pintar untuk operasional logistik dan pelacakan lokasi kendaraan Vehicle Smart Management System; perangkat lunak terintegrasi, mulai dari perencanaan hingga pemantauan Transportation Management System, dan Smart Driver Apps.

Baru-baru ini, McEasy memperkenalkan Gerakan 1 Juta Kendaraan sebagai bagian dari komitmen untuk mendukung percepatan 1 juta kendaraan roda empat yang tergabung dalam ekosistem digital logistik dan transportasi terintegrasi yang dikembangkan McEasy pada 2025 mendatang.
