Habibi Garden Asal Indonesia jadi Aplikasi Terbaik Kelima di MWC 2019

Habibi Garden mampu meningkatkan hasil panen petani secara keseluruhan hingga Rp8 miliar dalam 10 bulan.
Jakarta, TechnoBusiness ID ● Habibi Garden, perusahaan rintisan (startup) Internet of Things (IoT) di bidang agrikultur asal Indonesia, berhasil menjadi aplikasi terbaik kelima di ajang Global Mobile (Glomo) Awards 2019 di Barcelona, Spanyol.
Habibi Garden bukan hanya startup pertama yang mewakili Indonesia dalam ajang penghargaan yang menjadi bagian dari Mobile World Congress, tapi juga mengalahkan 1.080 pesaing kategori “Social Good: Outstanding Mobile Contribution to UN SDGs” dari berbagai negara.

Didirikan pada Mei 2016 dan memenangi The NextDev Telkomsel pada tahun yang sama, Habibi Garden merupakan startup yang mengombinasikan sensor agrikultur presisi miliknya dengan teknologi Narrow Band (NB) IoT dari PT Telekomunikasi Seluler.
Dengan begitu, Habibi Garden mampu memberikan data terkini tentang kondisi tanah dan nutrisi dalam tanaman melalui ponsel pintar untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, mengurangi biaya, dan mengantisipasi kemungkinan gagal panen.
Sampai saat ini, Habibi Garden telah digunakan oleh lebih dari 1.300 petani di Indonesia. Petani-petani, terutama di Jawa dan Sumatera, itu dibantu oleh 600 sensor yang ada. Walhasil, mereka dapat meningkatkan hasil panen secara keseluruhan senilai Rp8 miliar dalam 10 bulan.

Dalam penjelasan perusahaan yang diterima TechnoBusiness Indonesia, Kamis (28/2), teknik koleksi data pertanian, implementasi sistem irigasi otonomis, dan penggunaan dashboard yang diperkuat dengan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Machine-Learning dari Habibi Garden mampu membantu petani memahami tanaman secara lebih baik.
Di samping itu, solusi ini juga memungkinkan petani untuk membuat keputusan berdasarkan fakta lapangan, tidak lagi bergantung pada intuisi dan kebiasaan belaka.
